A Summer In London

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

So after I blogged on Monday night, me and Keely went to Hyde Park and walked/jogged/ran. It was so much fun. I did realize that I was way out of shape though. I definately need to work on that! I just love the park. It is so beautiful. Everyone goes there at night and just sits in the grass or walks through the park. There are a lot of trees and flowers and monuments to see. It never gets old! Tuesday I went to morning class and then grabbed Starbucks with Kristen and then went to afternoon class at the Tate Britain. Let's just say that me and my classmates had a little but of a problem getting there. :) We were over 30 mins late because we took the wrong tube! WOOPS~! THe museum was cool but it was not my favorite. I really love the Impressionist art and there wasn't any there. It was actually kind of boring listening about the same thing for 2 hours! That night I went to Hyde Park with Kristen and walked around. We went and played in tthe Princess Diana fountain. THe water was freezing which felt so good because it has been massive hot here for a couple of weeks! The rest of the night I chilled in my room and talked with friends. Oh! I also booked my trip to Greece!! I am leaving Wednesday the 8th and not coming back till Sunday the 11th!! It's just me and three of my besties here. I am so excited and so ready to lay out on a beach! Let me tell you, London is not very kind to the pale people. I think it just makes us paler!! Today we went to the National Gallery for class and listened to our teacher talk for 2 and a half hours. I think I learned how to sleep with my eyes open! At least I got to see some Impressionism after class was over-Renoir, Monet, Manet, CAlleboite, and Degas! I just loved it! After the museum, me and Kristen met with Krystal and Erin and went to eat at the Texas Embassy! That's my third time. O boy do I love Mexican food! Tonight is going to be a catch up on sleep night. I always seem to go to bed so late, but not tonight!
