Bonjour Baby!!!

This weekend was such an amazing and once in a lifetime experience. I still can't believe that I was in Paris. It was so different than I ever thought it would be. I am not going to lie, it was not as great as everyone makes it out to be, but again that could be becasue I am quite bias to my new home. London is just way too hard to compete with. We left Firday around 3 and took a bus to the Eurostar, which took us right under the chunnel to Paris. Right away I was a little intimidated by French. I forgot how difficult it can be to visit somewhere that doesn't speak English. Lucily, people were overall very nice and spoke at least enough English to communicate. After arriving in Paris about 10 at night we pretty muich just grabbed some dinner and then hung out in the room and watched a movie. Can I just say that I dont really recommend Cold Mountain to anyone unless you want to be depressed for hours. Its so sad! :(
Saturday was so much fun! We went on a bus tour around Paris and saw all of the major sights. We then went to the Notre Dame and the Louvre. Both were so amzing. I personally really liked the Notre Dame way better. I love the architecture of old churches. The Louvre was really cool but so overwhelming. I couldnt even imagine tryingt o make it through the whole thing. We saw the MOna Lisa, Venus, and that other important statue with wings. I loved the statues. They were so beautiful! The rest of the day was spent walking around Paris and exploring. The Eifeel Tower really is so beautiful. That night we went on a boat tour down the Thames and then went to the top of the tower. It was so incredible! I was just in shock that I was actually in the Eiffel Tower. I will never forget it. Sunday we slept in and then just did some souv shopping and explored a little more. By far my favorite part was the Tiki Tiki men under the tower. It is so funny that they all scatter when the police come! We laughed so hard! I have to say, I am real good at bartering. I got some great deals. I have to say that by the time that we left I was ready to go back home to London. Paris is amazing and I thinkeveryone should see it at least once, but it has nothing on London!
