Wednesday, May 19

Wednesday was an incredible day! Me and Cass went to Westminster Abbey. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. We got to go up to this chapel and pray. It was amazing to stand in a place where millions of people have been praying for centuries. God is so good! I was so amazed to see how many different people were buried there. Like Issaic Newton, Charles Darwin, George Elliot, William Wadsworth, most of the Kings, Queens, and Princesses, and my own personal favorite, Jane Austin. There is so much history all in one place. Talk about overwhelming! The ceilings were on of my favorite parts too. I couldn't take pictures inside, but I bought a postacrd to remember it. The picture doesn't even do it justice. I would consider it one of the Wonders of the World. So when we walked through we got a little phone thing that you could hold throughout the tour and it would tell you certain information about each part that your in. Guess who was the voice!!! Jeremy Irons! That's right-Scar himself. His voice was so perfect to match the surrounding. I couldn't help but giggle. Needless to say, Westminster Abbey is my new favorite place.
Later that night we went to a play called Avenue Q. It originated in New York and it is set there. The main characters were puppets and it was very interesting, mostly strange. I don't know that I would recommend spending your money on it.
