London is so incredible! It is so amazing to me to see all this history. These buildings have been here for hundreds of years! Kensington is an incredible and beautiful part of London. So many gardens and historic things.
My room is actually bigger than my dorm freshman year which is not saying a whole lot, but still I was so excited. My roomate is awesome. So much fun to be around. God definatley knew that I needed her to make me laugh and forget about how much I missed home. The bathroom isn't terrible but I miss my own.
Friday was a very long day with the airplane ride and settling in and taking everything in for the first time. It was almost overwhelming. We went on a walking tour to see around Kensington and we find our school and the good stores to go to. I am so excited to be a part of this city and feel like a real Londoner. By the time I made it to 9 I crashed until this morning.
Today has been an incredible day. We had orientation and learned some things about London and about the things to do and places to go. There is so many trips to be apart of and I want to do everything. Stuff is way more expensive over here and I know I am going to be broke by the time I get home, but at least I will have amazing memories and expreiences!
Ok, so its official. Everything in London revolves around pubs. Everyone goes to them like everynight and there is a pub on every corner. Even the cop that talked to us at school told us all about his favorite bar that he goes to evernight for hours!
We went on a bus tour today and I saw the major downtown part of London. It is insane! Big Ben, The London Eye, Parliament, Trafalger Square, Piccadilly Circus, the Tower Bridge, and so so much more! I can't wait to go down there more and explore.
Don't even get me started about the museums! O my gosh! I can see myself spending all my spare time in them! Victoria and albert, the Science, the Natural History! Wo Wo Wo! I am so excited.
